Hi, I'm Richard — the person behind Big Wargames. What started as a passion for the hobby grew into something I wanted to share with fellow wargamers: high-quality gaming mats that are actually made properly.

Handcrafted to Size

Every mat we make is cut and hemmed to your exact dimensions — typically 3×3 feet, though we can work to whatever size your game table demands. No raw, fraying edges. Just clean, durable cloth mats that lie flat and look great on the table.

Quality Materials

We use thick, high-quality cloth that's tough enough to stand up to years of gaming sessions. The material is chosen to give great texture underfoot for your miniatures, while being easy to roll up and store between games.
